Hard Wired Internet Connection

Hard-Wired Broadband Internet service via DSL, Cable, or Fiber Optic Connection (PC MUST be hard-wired via Ethernet connection and cannot be connected to Wi-Fi) additionally 5G, Satellite, Microwave, and Cellular Hotspot Internet services are not permitted.

Do I need to provide the equipment?

Yes. You will need to provide your own equipment due to being a 1099 Independent Contractor. If equipment is needed WAHES has compatible equipment and also offers financing.

Is this a Full Time or Part Time Position?

The choice is yours based on your availability and how often you want to service. You are in control of your schedule, but you must work at least a minimum of 15 hours each week.

What is the Pay Rate?

Each client has different rates. The pay varies between $10-$18 with the potential to make more with incentives and pay increases.

Am I responsible for my own taxes?

Yes. As a 1099 Independent contractor you are responsible for paying your own taxes. Taxes are NOT deducted during payroll. (Meaning you'll receive your GROSS pay)

Will I come out of pocket for anything upfront?

No. However there is a $30 charge for your background check which remains active for 36 months. Once you enroll in a class and service FlextTel Virtual Solutions will refund you $30 as a courtesy.

Will I be paid during certification?

No. Independent contractors do not fall under labor employee rights, which means you don't get paid until after you pass certification and start servicing the client. However, there are opportunities to Earn while you Learn that pay while still in certification.

Do I need to have prior experience?

No. Prior experience is not required. You will be trained for the position you apply for.
